Rotary is a bottom up organization, where the greater part of the service activities are implemented at the club level. The district and international structure aim at assisting the clubs, enabling them to improve the the results of their services within their communities and abroad.
The Rotarian Year starts on July 1st. On this day the new President of Rotary International and the Chairman of the Board of the Rotary Foundation take up their duties lasting one year.
